Using opinions expressed by the guests that Sasquatch Experience do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the host, sponsors, or affiliates of the Sasquatch Experience. As always, listener discretion is advised. We got some one or something crawling around out her. See what it was? Was it a person or an animal? Or I can't go. I know that my underweight came on and I did that with a glimp. The thing running across. The yard a goodbye man or company. Woked by the man. I don't know what it was. Back in two thousand and five, we set out with one goal to give voice to the mystery and those who pursue it. Sasquatch Experience Podcast has been your go to source for serious Bigfoot discussion, where we separate fact from folklore. Always grounded in research and respect. We've interviewed eyewitnesses experts since to the like because understanding Bigfoot isn't just about belief, It's about the journey. Nearly two decades later, we're still chasing shadows and sharing stories. The search never stopped. Welcome to the Sasquatch Experience. Hello, get somebody out here. Well and good evening. Everyone, Welcome to the Sasquatch Experience for Monday. I've been worried at sixteen, twenty twenty six. It is President's Day, right, it is the federal holiday that if you're a banker or a government employee, got to enjoy and hopefully that sets you up for a good time to be here with us tonight on the Sasquatch Experience. I'm sewn the fortune out Forker. That's Van James Baker is right underneath and tonight's guest filmmaker, an investigator who has spent the last decade deep in the woods of the Kettle Moraine. He is the creator of the Finding Jay documentary series, a researcher of the Wisconsin Sasquatch, and a man who believes that to find the truth, you have to stop looking and start listening. Our guest tonight, welcome our friend Jay Bachochin. Jay, thanks for stopping by Sasquatch Experience this week. Well, thank you guys for having me on special. Hello to everybody there. Sean Dance and even Baker who won everything less. I know the luckiest I know he's going to go into the Old Don Tribe. Okay, okay, Okay, so. You had a lucky rabbit swoot. I'm an even guy. Okay, So like I want, I want some money, and. My roof broke and it just about covered what they needed for the route. Okay, that's a personal problem thing. So tonight is not a home improvement show. We are catching up with our buddy Jay. The last time we were all together was at the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Camping Weekend, which was a great time. Always a great time done and Ben and Meadow is raising some money for some good causes and just having fun being with our friends. These things are really like a family reunion when you get a chance to get to them. It's such a great camaraderie that shared between the group of researchers and Jay. It's been years since we've been we've been friends. I mean, we go all the way back to having you on Beyond the Edge Radio. Absolutely, the bio said ten years, but I think it's been a little longer than that that you've been exploring some of these strange and bizarre topic. Yes, since about twenty thirteen, so right, yeah, well thirteen years now, right, yeh yeah, yeah, thirteen years now, so over. Right, and you have a unique approach, and we'll talk about that in just a couple of minutes. Before we dove in, though, did we have any news or we needed to hit before we got this started. I jumped right into the interview, which is unusual for me normally. I like, all right, giving some consideration to others. Look, this happened very often, Jay Listen, I asked for one hour a week from these guys. Okay, one hour every other week, and so all great, guys, you do. So what's on your minds, gentlemen? Before we get started and we start rilling Jay, which is a new document for coming up. Go ahead, James. And this spring, Lauren Coleman is finishing up his new Bigfoot Museum. They have moved, they are updating the building. I know that if you go on to his web, you go on to his Facebook or the museum's Facebook, they'll give you dates and things like that. Man Fork are trying to get out. There and the fall. But just if you get a chance to go up to see it. We saw that the old location. It was amazing. So you know, when he's got more square footage, it's going to be that much better. Yeah, we really didn't have a great time when we went up to Portland. I mean, aside from all the seafood we could eat even coming from the sky, thank these eagles. We went to the International cryptis Vality Museum in Thompson's Point and you know, it was nice. As we went in there, I think it was Nate that was working the desk, Nate Breslin, and recognized James and I and he called Lauren and Louren was not even in the building, but got in his vehicle and drove to us and gave us the personal tour of the museum, which was just a great time. And there are things that he pulled out of storage for me to look at that weren't even on display because we got to take pictures. Yeah, I mean, we've been in this for so long. It was great to spend the time of Louren and to speed the collection, which, like Baker said, I can only imagine how much more this new place is going to be filled up, because he had that old place pretty much packed in. And you get a chance to folks, get a chance. It's going to be in bangor Maine, right, James, It's not in Portland. It's going to be right moved to bangor right and get a chance to get up there and see it. Bacon. I plan on going at least at some point this year, So that's going to be a great time. We've got some great folks in the chat to tonight Man already lighting it up. We've got our good friend Scott got buddy you, our executive producer Brian Corbyn. Always good to have the boss in the house. Let's see here, James Baker Jay in Silent Bigfoot. That's that's the next that's the next day. Yeah, that should be your thing. Next thing. We've got Mysstic seven seventh of the seventh, Hey, Mystic caw are you? And Kim? Always good to have our friend Kim in the chat. And Ricky Cherby someone else we've got to get in the show. When he's done renovating that house. We've got to get him on the program. It's the church, yay. Yeah. Always I stay up to date on what you guys are up to. We might not talk every day, but I could keep my finger on the pulse. Well that's what it's all about. Stay in touch, you know it is. So now that we've got the advance, did you have anything. You know what, Jay, it dawned on me today that it was pretty close to ten years ago that you and myself went out to the Kettle Moraine. Yeah. I was like, no, that was two months ago. But the older we get, you know, the first of the time span gets, that was almost ten years ago, I'm like, come on, man, stop it. It was that. That was insane. But yeah, we had an amazing time going out there, and we had some really weird experiences happened to us, and they'll stick with us. And fortunately for Jay and myself, we were able to sit with Shannon on ITF radio or into the Fray Radio and we did an interview of all the weird entities that happened to us when we were in the Kettle Moraine. But yeah, they stick to me like this just happened a couple of weeks ago, and I just I'm sorry, but really it was that long ago. It doesn't seem like it. But we have established we have in years we haven't we have an aged I mean it's awesome. No, not at all, you have, not at all. I agree, it's been like this. Yeah, we know since birth. We understand I've been I was fatter, but yeah, that was it. Yeah? Anyhow, okay, you're getting this kicked off on the right foot. Jay. Uh. You know a question we always asked for folks that may not be familiar with you. How about tell did you get started? And almost? You know, it's not a not everybody becomes a bigfoot research or a paranormal investigator. You know. Some people become great bowlers, some people become athletes. You took the trip and became a weirdo like the rest of us. How did it happen? Well, it all began in nineteen sixty seven. No, hey, I'll tell you what though. It all started probably ten years after that, my hometown in Lyndenhurst, Illinois, just being able to see my mom taking my sister home from a school of enters. Someone was a Friday night. I remember my sister was a year and a half older than I am. Comes to the house thing. We're being invaded. We're being invaded. It's about ten o'clock at night, and of course we all go out there, my other two brothers, and we're watching whatever this thing is in the sky. I would classify as my first UFO sighting. It was low, it was spinning, but the biggest thing was the movement is that as soon as it started spinning, it was like hovering. You would blink out and be across the sky instantly, I mean boom. So you know, you think of drones of today and that nothing could move that fast. But I think that's really what kind of started it because my grandfather, who was kind of in the early chapters of move On in Chicago, we had a lot to talk about when I was a ten year old kid, you know, And I think I've always done that because I've always was I was that pasty young kid down in the basement during the summer, waiting for God's Dilla to battle King Kong and black and white or color the feature. So I was always into the not just paranormal, but supernatural, and of course you know that gets into the eighties you had the Ghostbusters who didn't want to bust the ghost and wear a proton pac and kind of investigate around. So I've always had that knack of well, even back then, I didn't really call it finding your truth, but I was looking for my own truth and being influenced a lot by movies television going into the early two thousand with Paps Ghost Hunters the only paranormal show that was on at that time, and it just so happened to be at a time where I looked at reality TV of saying is this real? I mean it seemed real. I mean it pulled me in, but I really wanted to know. And that's when we've formed our own group in early two thousand and seven, Wisconsin Paranormal Investigators, and we did. We got a website going. I mean, it seemed like we're the first ones on the block besides you know big and I know people have been doing that, but we started getting hits of you know, come in check out our house or you know, we didn't do the plugin police. We did start out in cemeteries, but you know, we moved into like people's houses or businesses to investigate them, and just a lot of stuff caught over, you know, over those years with some EVPs didn't really know orbs. You know, it could be dust, it could be bugs, a lot of things. So it's more those experiences which now leads me into the Kennedy end of the paranormal group where I started. I friended Linda Godfrey early twenty eleven at a Chicago ghost conference seven, I think it was, and I was able to friend her and I really was interested in the beast of which Bray Road is just literally a fifteen minute drive for my driveway, just a little bit up north. I'm there and that's when I started kind of just what I call patrolling, because you can't get out out of you know, your car. It's all privately owned farm land, so you know you can drive it's a public road. But at the same time, I did a lot of patrolling. Some of this patrolling led me up to the Kettle Moraine one evening and I remember who I was with, and it was about nine o'clock at night and I Crisp October evening. We get out of the car, got a crappy night vision camcorder, digital tape, and right there and we caught something that I'll never say. I'm an outback jack, I'm not a tracker. I'm not an experienced woodsman. I have been. I started getting a lot better, and I'm still learning as I go now. But we caught something that just blew my mind. And it didn't sound canine. It sounded more of a primate or a simon, but also it sounded like a person. It was kind of a mixture of things. Is that because I'm constantly searching for my truth that intrigued me. That's what pulled me in to the world of Bigfoot. And this whole time did I even mention that I even believed in Bigfoot. I've seen that the Mysterious Monsters movie in the seventies, and I thought, Patty, come on, that's a guy in a suit walking away. That was That's how I've been the whole time, seeing Harry and the Henderson's in the eighties. Again, guy in a suit, just like Chewbacca. You know. So this is just kind of the way I perceived Bigfoot, and everybody was a Bigfoot researcher getting there finding Bigfoot during that time. And still where's the evidence? You know, I mean people are pulling up casts, whoop bee do, where's the body? Where's that evidence that we're looking for? That after hearing those those calls in October of twenty thirteen, really really pulled me into the woods. So in the long and short of it, that's how I kind of got into that. No, I mean, I think it's a great overview. You know, you talk about you know, your grandfather leading an early chapter of Move On. You know, I kind of got I don't want to say indoctrinated, but kind of drawn into this by familial connections as well, right, And it was always the place did you find that growing up? Was that something that was kind of cultivated with you, Jay, that you had this ability and these resources to go to to talk about these strange things or was it still kind of a kind of a kept quiet conversation. You know what, I'm sure my brothers and sister and everybody I know just thinks I'm that person. No, I really didn't. I really didn't have that outlet to speak about except when I was with my grandfather, and I mean he would share with me everything that he has been investigating since the fifties. So there was that immediate connection with you know, grandson and you know grandfather, and that kind of helped me along. And I guess just throughout my life is journey, you know, I am running into people that share the same passion I think that I say, think outside the box, not that we're crazy, but just give it a second, just just to understand. That are we the crazy ones? So I guess that's a larger question. I mean yeah, we're crazy. Just leave it at that. I don't know, lately, all these people that have all these crazy ideas and conspiracy theories, they're. Starting to check out. How about it? Right? And you know we've talked about that over the years, these folks that, you know, we just look at the and I know we focused predominantly on Bigfoot, Jay and guys. But when you look at the EUAP phenomena, right UFOs to us, right vant in to make that sure, there's still UFOs to me. And you know, we wouldn't be having these Senate hearings and these congressional hearings on this topics ten years ago, fifteen years ago. You know, finally some of these things are starting to pop up and become mainstream. And why would we not see that with something such as the Sasquatch? And I think maybe, you know, this is just a subject of conversation. We could take this as we want to, just a bottom having that we kind of think the concept of an eight running around the forest of North America is silly. Stranger things have happened, I guess, right. I mean I don't find it that silly, but you know, Jay, you kind of look at this from all directions, and I think if one of the things I appreciate you keep calling it searching for your truth, and you know you look at the Bigfoot mystery with a different lens. Where are you at with Bigfoot? And what legend there? Okay, well, I mean I basically started off, and if you see my first documentary, this really gets deep into my search. Right after I hear those calls and going back J, folks, what's up finding J? Right, my first documentary finding J. And again it was not a narcissistic thing saying hey, it's my documentary. I'm gonna call finding Jay. You know, I always said, you know, after a couple of years of doing this, I realized that I don't think I will ever find Bigfoot, but I think Bigfoot will find me. Thus finding J. It could be finding Sean, finding Dvance, finding Baker with all these but when I first started, but when I first started approaching this, of course, you know, I'm influenced by other writers, other researchers that Bigfoot is just the flesh and blood ape running around. Well, I guess everywhere in the world, since there's been accounts everywhere. But I really was kind of focusing instead of hearing all the white noise all around me through the media, through documentaries, through books. You know, what I had to become my own window might be being the observer instead of just watching about it hearing about it, because of course we can get an influenced that way. Of course, a lot of I'd never call myself a bigfooter. I'm not a squatcher. I am a hiker out there just being an observer. That's what I'm doing, and I'm documenting it as I go. So will I admit way in the beginning, did I take stick and knock it against a tree or give a bobo howl? Of course I did. But over this time I started I think this was kind of the progression of me being kind of one with the woods. That sounds a little bit crazy, but I grew up not a woodsman. I stayed away from ticks and poison, ivy, you know, anything that was in there. I'm staying out of it. Now. You can't keep me out of there. I don't care what I'm walking into. I feel like the woods is beckoning me. And that's kind of the key word for me right now is the woods. So I never say I'm going squatchy. I'm saying, hey, I'm gonna go hiking in the living woods because I do believe that I do believe that Bigfoot is flesh and blood. I'll I'm gonna set my opinion right off, is flesh and blood, but I believe has supernatural attributes to it. And the only reason why I can say that is not just my thoughts thinking outside of the box, but seeing what I've seen out there. And I've seen something that in the dead of fall, where it's really brown here in Wisconsin, nothing's green through some standing pines. I look to my right and I see this auburn shape and they had to have been about sixty seventy yards away, but it looked huge and it caught my eye. I kind of like a like a t Rex movement. Something had to have moved to where I looked that way. The second I looked, I mean, it was solid, and then all of a sudden it was gone, Almost like if you were going to take a fly swatter to a fly and you think you got them, but you missed him. He whatever it was moved that fast, but it left like what looked like an auburn blur so it moved so quick, but I could almost see the whatever it left behind. So and it covered a great distance too. When I did that, and I was out there with my four and a half year old daughter during the day. We're just doing a daddy daughter pike, and I believe at that point, I said, I don't care if I was double wielding Ak's like rambo. Whatever. This thing was moved that quick could actually snatch my daughter. So there were things like that, So it's kind of like, you know, it was it an apparition that I saw, you know, what could I actually have seen? But at the same time, over the years, with a lot of the different experiences I've had of things walking directly behind me and turning around, taking a couple of steps forward, turning around and there's nothing there and you never heard it leave, I guess it's things like that because I always think, if it's listen, you know, how is it that we're just finding the one footprints and that the others. You know that that question, that question has never really been answered. We can all have theories on it. But I started believing that that bigfoot was solid, it was leaving footprints, it's breaking branches, it's doing these things, yet there's there's not tracks everywhere there. You know, if these things are this big and this broad and they're just there, it'd be so hard to move through the kettle or really woods without leaving, you know, a four foot five foot wide of destruction and footprints everywhere if it was just an animal. Anyway, this is just the way I look at some of these things. Jay, I've got a question for you. Yeah, having a conversation with Linda Giffrey, rest her soul. She was great at what she did. And off the top of my head, I forget the name of the man that owned the hayfield adjacent to Bray Road, the haut Yes, And you know, she was telling me, and she shared this story with others and she wrote it in her book too, of these orbs that she saw and one of the gentlemen who was driving the vehicle shined his mag light flashlight at it and it disappeared. But it was coming right at them. And there was a lot of weird things that she documented in photography of the footprints that just vanished. You go off in one direction and there were no more footprint. Where did they go? They just disappeared. And of course when you and myself were out there and went to the kettle, you know, I had my personal experience, you had your experience of bizarro stuff that when we were there, and I will never ever forget that. And I'm really looking forward to packing up the bag, the squatch bag and going back out there with you again, because we're only an hour and ten minutes from each other, and I'm looking forward to doing that again over the little bit warmer season. But I want to get back out there with you again. Definitely, because you remember what we walked through the Cone of silence. The Cone of silence was the craziest thing. I'll tell you why. That was nuts. Yeah, I'll tell you that the woods have gone quiet over all this time, you know, while I'm still doing this, But mine and your experience of that ConA silence has never happened since. No, really, I've heard that's crazy because we we even heard when it was so quiet, it felt like we were in just like this little domein. A vacuum like this. Yes, we couldn't hear any ambient noise anywhere. I will explain to the audience what would Jay and myself experienced. I'm looking for any kind of tracks on the trail that we're walking on, and we're in the Kettlemarine and off in the distance, probably what maybe a mile mile and a half away, we heard tractor equipment rolling off in the farm fields. We heard birds chirping, we heard squirrels barking, and it was like one step and Jay turned around and looked at me, and he's like, everything is dead, silent. We couldn't hear anything. We didn't see anything flying, we saw on nothing moving. It was the craziest thing. You know, when you're in such deathly quiet when your ears start to ring. That's what we were experiencing. And so we started walking forward and at some point all the noise of the forest and the tractor equipment all came back to life again. In about I would say, maybe Jay thirty feet, yeah, thirty to fifty feet as we walked, and then everything came back to life again. What the hell was that? It's basically like being in an acoustic recording. Yeah, it was that where you could hear yourself breathe. Yes, you could feel your heart beating and hear it. Yeah, it was crazy, and that was nuts. That was nuts and I know that steps a little bit off the path of the bigfoot thing, but there was definitely something going on there because we had a couple other experience and says going through there where I saw a translucent figure run right in front of me as I'm looking at the ground looking for tracks, and this translucent thing ran from one side, from the left side of the path to the right side. But yet none of the brush or shrubbery moved as it ran in front of me. And of course, you know, I figured out twenty minutes later my GoPro was dead. My goalpro will run for four or five hours, and we were in there for what twenty minutes and my goalpro was dead. It was crazy. But now can you explain that with something No, well, maybe you can. Maybe you were experiencing a force that you couldn't see. We've talked about these effects of things like infra sound, and you know, perhaps you were just subjected to something like that. Although you know, j I really go ahead, Jay. Oh no, I'm sorry, I'll let you finish. But subjective, that's one of the things that I actually think about, is sorry, I'm going to use Star Wars. You know, parodies but what what I'm thinking is they are right there, and it's it's very easy for said sasquatch standing right there saying this isn't the squad you're looking for, you know, it's you know, I don't want to say Jedi mind tricks, But how is it. I don't think in reality that all the sound events that we we couldn't hear just didn't disappear. I think it was affecting us. One way or another. And I don't know how right we feel like we were infected in the in this bubble of sea. Would there there's some trippy ship that happens to people out out in the woods man, And you know, I not that I try to. I'm a flesh and blood guy. I think we all know that. But it doesn't mean that these abilities can't come from something that's blood. Right, But that's you know anything. I think that's always been my debate and I'm sorry about that when it comes to saying stop with the woo, stop with and you know, and people thinking that it's just like this magical, friendly giant floating around out in the woods or whatnot. Me personally, I believe soundsquatch is one hundred percent flesh and blood. But Sean, you you hit it. Why why couldn't they have a different ability of you know, being in the in the environment. And I don't understand why. And it's hard for me because I guess I believe that, but it's hard for me for people not to. I don't want to say, open up, but just think outside the box a little bit, right. I don't know if it's true. I'd like to call it what if? Right, it's not such rude, but what if we don't? I'll bring that up in the news segment. But we're only we're only so far with technology, right. Everything we discover is discover accidentally, and then we find a way to repeat it, or through years upon years upon years of research, right, and that somebody stumbled upon something that once again we're trying to find a way to repeat. We haven't been able to find this thing yet, to be able to even start those studies. So to say it can't be just because something else doesn't have that ability doesn't make it woo again. And to me it makes it what if, you know, leave footprints, This thing leaves piles of ship this thing is leaves biological means. And so it does. But you know, Sean, I would bring up to you when Jay and myself went there the second j parked the vehicle in this maintenance little parking area which is really small. We got out of the vehicle and we smelled this horrible stench and I mean it was awful. It's it just smelled like shit, meet death, whatever you want to It just smelled awful. And I don't know if you remember, Jay, but maybe within twenty five to thirty seconds of us smelling the stench, we heard something hit the ground that to me sounded like a really heavy bag of you know, concrete mix hitting the ground like it fell out of a tree. And yet Jay and myself walked over there and saw nothing. Let's pause there, though, Vance, because we're at time for oh break, and when we come back from the break, we'll pick up where you left off, the men hitting the ground, wet meat, shit, and all of the good stuff when we come back. I Sasquat experience shot maker. Vance Nez been our guest tonight, Ja Pa Jochin. We'll be right back right after the big football horn. See you shortly. Whoo's team US symbol. There's no such thing as antifa. Right. I thought it was an idea. It was an idea, like in a fable, like in a book, like at a Kid Striking at Charlie Brown Encyclopedia. It's just an idea. It's an idea, like unicorns, like Bigfoot. All who knows I'm up in the air a big foot? Ah? Yes, that was the recent former Deputy director of the FBI, Dan Bongino last week after he has returned from the FBI. But I found it as a really interesting sound clip just because of the fact that before he went to the FBI, I know of one occasion where you use Bigfoot as a fallacy or a fairy tale creature. Now we have a difference of opinion, of course, it just crossed my mind to say, hmm, I wonder if there was any documentation or photographs or both, or who knows that he may have glanced interesting? Isn't it want to hear it again? There's no such thing as antifa. Right. I thought it was an idea. It was an idea, like it a fable, like in a book, like at a Kid's Strike at Charlie Brown Encyclopedia. It's just an idea. It's an idea like unicorns, like Bigfoot Allo, who knows I'm up in the air Bigfoot. Well, there you go, you draw your own conclusions. Well, happy day to you all. Thanks for joining us at the big Foot Bullhorn on the Sasquatch Experience, and of course you can always reach out to us via email or the interweb machine. Email would be Sasquatch Experience at gmail dot com, or like I said, you can go to the YouTube web machine Sasquatch Experience dot com. It's not that complicated, but we would love to hear from you. And speaking of you know, things that are being questioned as of late, there's two sociologists, Jamie Lewis and Andrew Bartlett, and they wanted to uncover some questions that they were itching to understand what prompts this community to spend valuable time and resources looking for a beast that is highly unlikely to even exist. During the COVID lockdown, Lewis started interviewing more than one hundred and thirty bigfooters and a few academics about their views, experiences, and practices, culminating in the duo's recent book, Bigfooters and Scientific Inquiry on the Borderlands. Of legitimate science. One question asked of Lewis was how big is this community? Of course, Lewis replied, it's very hard to put a number on it. There is certainly a divide between what are known as apers, who believe that Bigfoot is just a primate unknown to science, and those that are perhaps more derogatorily called Woo's or wu Wu's, who believe that Bigfoot is some sort of interdimensional traveler, an alien of sort. We're talking thousands of people, but there are a couple hundred really serious people, of which I've probably interviewed at least half many people back then. A UGOV survey conducted as recently as November of last year, or twenty twenty five, if you're bad at math, suggested that many as one quarter of the Americans believe that Bigfoot either definitely or probably exists. Another question asked of Bartlett was were the interviewees suspicious of your intentions? Bartlett replied, well, one of the things that at least a couple of people reacted to once the book was published was the way we phrase that. On the blurb on the back of the book, we say something along the lines of Bigfoot exists, if not in physical biological creature form, then certainly as an object around which hundreds of people organize their lives. A couple of people they took that there's some sort of slight against them, but bart Live insisted it wasn't. When we come back, I forget is it Idaho or Ohio? Well I have to figure that out. Yes, that's okay, hold on there we go, all right, folks, How you doing the night Sean's Will, James Baker, Van's Nesbit, and Jay Bachoch. So hopefully you all got the big football horn. Vance. Thank you for that great upload tonight. We really appreciate it. It was great. It was great. But I gotta say, being from Wisconsin, I don't say Wiscansen, Wiscansen. No, US from Illinois say Wiscanson. It's right, but from here. You're a Bears fan though, right, Jay, guy, hard Bears fan. There you go, that's all that matters. I'm good with that. I'm right on the border, border wars, border works, and I get you got to throw a rivalry right here with you know the art that's not a rivalry. Jay and I are locked armed in that old that whole thing. No, No, we're good. We're good. We're good. Before we went to the break, guys, we were talking about some brain shit. So let's pick up where we left off. Their bands. Besides the walking through the Cone of Silence and hearing something fall from it, what I would have assumed was a tree after we smelled some serious stench. Uh. And this goes back prior to a lot of the reports of the awful smell that people have reported having a Sasquatch experience of the bad smell. And as soon as Jay and myself got out of the car, Chase says to me, holy what And we're looking at each other going what that awful smell? And it was crazy, but yeah, we heard a very heavy thing or something that sounded like it either jumped out of a tree or fell out of a tree or from a higher altitude. And we walked over in that general direction. We saw nothing. We saw absolutely nothing. But you know, after our Cone of Silence experience, we did hear some rock clacks off in the distance, and you know, we were like, what is that. It sounded like, you know, two larger rocks being clapped together. I'm not going to say what it was because JM myself didn't see anything. But for the things that happened in that experience in the Kettle Moraine, it was really interesting. Here's one thing about Kettle Moraine for those that have never been there, it's very level land. The thing is, it's all being gouged out. A lot of it's been gouged out by glaciers that created part of the Great Lakes. So it's not a mountainous area. It's flatland. But you have these really deeper vines that go down. Some of them, Jay go down what forty stories, just completely gouged out. You fall off a ravine, you're dead. You're going down, You're dead. But a lot of these ravines have small creeks that just keep draining out so that they don't fill into lakes like the Great Lakes. Do you know, there's no upper shore for water that has nowhere to go, so they drain out and it leaves these deeper vines. And I'm telling you that area is just a perfect area for all sorts of weird things to be able to hide or just stay out of human sight. Easily stay out of human sight. And you know I have friends that go snowmobiling in the winter time up in the Kettle Moraine. Yeah, you make a wrong turn and that's pretty much the end of your life. You're just tumbling down these deep, gouged out ravines and it's pretty crazy. It's an amazing place to go. I would invite anybody that ever has any interest to do any even if you just want to look for wildlife in the area. That's a great place to go. It is and just think about this Vans the little bit area that we covered. You know, if you wanted to take a pin and just poke it right into a map, you know, an aerial map like that. That's already covered. You know. I know it's definitely not the Pacific Northwest. It's not you know, it's not Pennsylvania. It's not the Chestnut Ridge. It's not the East Coast, it's not you know. I mean you look at these other places that are just immense, and then you look at the Kittle Marine and it's like, you know, the cattle Maraine is you can get so lost. There's been easyl lost. Yes, it is easily, yes. And I just wanted to add that area that you and I walked. We I have actually casted my first print almost where you saw the thing jet across the path, same exact area because I remember that going, oh that's a band spot. That's what I call it, a vand spot. I'm honored because. That's where we were when I when I saw that, I always think of that whenever I still travel through there. But you know, over this is that in my third documentary to where I've actually seen the distortion. Uh. I like to call it the Predator, but not quite the head, shoulders and everything. It looked more like, you know if Harry Potter or Frodo threw their invisible cloaks over themselves. It kind of had it kind of had a uh, you know, pac Man, a ghost of pac Man shaped to it. But it was standing right next to a tree when my daughter was seeing something beyond me saying do you see it? She's looking at something beyond the path and the tree line, and I'm standing over her shoulder and I'm looking. She goes, it's right there. Do you see? It's by the tree. And I'm looking at a billion trees and I'm like, don't see it? I said, I We'll blame just here. I'm handing her the phone to record it. But my eye was brought up a little bit closer, forty yards from us and right from where the path and the tree line starts. All of a sudden, I see this distortion move. As soon as I like locked eyes with it, it seemed like it just moved behind the tree that it was by. And the reason why I said it moved behind the tree is because you could tell the distortion of all plant life or anything in front of it, or you looking. So when it went behind the tree. The tree didn't look distorted, so I thought it went behind the tree. But the really cool validation of this is my thirty five year old nephew. When my was trying to look this way, he kind of flanked off to the left about forty yards and just kind of even with us a little bit. But he kind of was flanking around that end. And when I was told my daughter, he was out of earshot. And by the time I walked down to the tree, he met us there and he is even keel. He goes, Jay, if I'm coming out here, I want to see a bigfoot, I want to see a dog man. I would see a gray alien. You know. He goes, But what I. Saw I can't explain, because he said it was like, be careful what you wish for. Yeah, He's like, it was translucent and it went. It was right. It was behind this tree, and it shot threw all that brush over the path into the next part of the woods, didn't make a sound, didn't destroy brush, And that's exactly where I saw whatever I saw it move behind the tree. So again now people say, well, you just saw a cloaking bigfoot. I didn't see a bigfoot. I didn't see a cloak. I didn't see it uncloak exactly. I don't know what I say. I have no idea what I saw. I saw what I had described with Shannon Legroux on ITF with you was if you held a piece of paper up to a blank television screen. That's how it was translucent. And it moved from the left to the right at a running speed, but yet none of the shrubs were moving or disturbed when it went from one side to the other. While I'm looking down looking for tracks, and I saw this thing move, and I'm like what, And of course you know you stopped because you had your camera going, well what did you see? And I look at my GoPro and it's dead. The battery is completely I'm like, we've only been in here for like twenty minutes and my GoPro was a one hundred percent battery charge. I've got nothing. I was like, Dads, do you remember though, when I said what did it look like? And you were describing it to me. I still remember to this day you said it was like like it was like like a because you couldn't see the bottom half of it. Yes, the top half and you said, it was almost as if like a villain the Scooby Doo. Yes, like the villain, yes, something, and moving across Always remember you said that, Yeah, Yeah. I couldn't see the I couldn't see anything from the waist down. All I caught was from the waist up as it was moving in front of me across the path, and it was like it was running And immediately I'm looking at the shrubbery on the other and on the other side, on the right side of where I was at. It went down into the ravine of at least you know, thirty forty feet. Who's running across that fast to go down a ravine. I don't know what to make of it. I really didn't. And I think that's the point where I was talking about. Is big Foot one hundred percent real or flesh and blow one hundred people? I believe that. But at the same time, Sean, the whole thing you were asking me is where where am I now? From what I when I first started, And I believe it was it was probably right around the time, you know, Vance and I were out. I took somebody else out and we were finding a single feather in the middle of the path, and I thought, well, I didn't really think much of that, because you're out in nature. Of course, there's going to be a bird feather from somewhere. And as we started walk, kept walking another about seventy five yards down, we find another feather single in the middle of the path, and I thought, okay, it maybe it just clicked there, but I still didn't make a big deal about it. About another one hundred yards later, we found another feather in the middle of the path, and I think at that point that triggered me into saying, you know, I'm thinking, okay, you know, bigfoots out here, bigfoots leaving me feathers. And then I'm thinking, now, that's ridiculous, that's absolutely ridiculous. However, there's a lot of native culture here in the state of Wisconsin that I thought immediately, I'm thinking headdress, you know that there, and I wanted to look into it a little bit more of the native side. Actually, Part three really kind of dives into that, right. I really do believe that the woods and I'm going to call them the living woods, and and I don't just mean trees, fox, deer or whatever I'm saying. It's it's alive, I even think spiritually, And I guess it all depends on how you want to approach it that way, you know, because again saying that you believe in bigfoot already, you're already getting shunned by people going as their unicorns too. And then and then when you dive into this field of bigfoot, then you do have those different camps. And then within these different camps you've got you know, the Apors, you got, the wu, you got the Ufo, you got Nephlum, biblical, you know, bigfoot. And I really think sometimes it's even hard to collaborate with other people that do this. I'm open to everything. Yeah, I'll listen to everybody, you know, when they sit there and they pound on their desks saying it is just a flesh and blood eighte people stop with all this other stuff. We don't know now, we don't know. We experienced it. And is there a correlation with you know, could you have seen evans a big foot running so fast that it was translucent. It's unheard of, but is it possible? We don't know. But that's why when I go out there and I'm becoming the window, my own observer, I am going to document what I see, what I feel. If other PEO people don't like that and it doesn't work with their paradigm in this subject, you know, that's just got to have to move on from it, or at least be able to talk with other people that are willing to listen, you know. I want to bring up a I wanted to bring up a quick point though, Jay, which I noticed that when you and myself went out there, and ever since you've been going out there, you make your announcement to the woods who you are and that you mean no harm. You're just there to observe, right, And you'll move through that area and you'll say your piece as you move through the area. And I'm very comfortable with that. I think whatever, if there is the whatever, needs to understand that we're not here to do you any harm. We're here to learn and observe, and that's it, not to obstruct or to destroy whatever it is you're doing. We're just here to observe. And when you make your announcement, I think that's very prevalent to doing some of this research. Yeah, and. Going into that, I'll take it that one step further because I was actually starting to do the announcement back when I was carrying like a big rig of lights and everything that I'm out there like a film crew of like finding Bigfoot, and I'm like, why can't I find this thing? You know, trying through? Then I started realizing that maybe it's because if we were out in the woods, for example, me and you and Sean, and we're standing out there in the dark, Okay, we're just doing our observing and just way down the path, we see this flashlight coming at us. Okay, what's your first instinct when you see that? And honestly, I think one of the answers were a lot of people are saying, all right, let's turn, let's go the other way, get away from the flashlights, or let's step off the path. And then that's a lot of the answers I get. And then I'll say, Okay, why do you feel that way? Is because you don't know the intentions behind the flashlight coming at you. So therefore, when I was coming in there, I was taking not trying to walk in with flashlight is not trying to be an aggressive step. I was basically going in there too be non aggressive. That's when I started doing my hand signals and you know, being able to let the woods know, Hey it's me and you know me. Hey, here's vance he's with me. Cool guy, let us let us go through. And that was actually back then. But after talking to a Native American elder, Skip god rust is Soul that he died in twenty and twenty three, I had only an hour and a half conversation with this man, and I was actually asking to see if you would do an interview with me for my third documentary, and at that point he wasn't able to. But that hour and a half conversation changed my life because of the way he approached it. I'm asking him, what are these feathers? Okay, I just I'd like to know what are these feathers? Right? Any relation? And he said, Jay, that's for you to find out, right, And I'm like, that's not the answer I'm looking for. Skip, I'm sorry, you know, I want to know the answers. Yeah, right, And he's like, Jay, there is more to the woods than just sasquatch. Sasquatch does exist, but there's so much more. And he I couldn't even dive into right now the amount of information that he gave me. But at that point he said, Jay, just do me this the next time you're out there, take tobacco with your left hand and. Say the Native. American word would be migwitch, which is thank you, and it's kind of an offering, and then you just sprinkle the tobacco right. And I'm like, okay, well, I haven't been doing this in all these years, and he goes, that's because Jay, this is your sunrise. And I didn't know what he's talking about. I don't speak that lingo. But whatever that did really opened me up more to the woods and the way to approach it. You know, am I taking a flute dancing around a tree right now? No, however, I do have a really precious tree that's out there that seems to be the oldest oak ever. But I named grandfather, and I named that grandfather a long time ago because I always said if these branches could talk, I wonder what it could tell me over the past year. It's that big. But it was just my approach to not only announcing but having that respect going into the woods. So sorry, I didn't mean to babble. No, No, I don't apologize. This is the perspective we need to take. Yeah, it's it's just my way of approaching. Like you said advanced that I always and I do this to this very day. I'll put my hands up and I will announce myself. And you're wondering why I put my hands up. It's not a hands up. It could be more of a submission, and it's more of saying, hey, look, I have nothing in my hands. That's what started it. I would do that. I would say, there's nothing in these hands, and then I would do that, and I would kind of turn and then i would wave to the woods. And I'd always share like a raccoon or possible giggles when I do that, you know, but I still get I still do that to this very day. What started out as a joke, not a joke, but just kind of something funny is now kind of my. I's a repetition. It's a repetition. So I say, it's kind of my calling card when I go in there, if anything seeing that I don't know. I'm thinking doing this for almost thirteen years, and I still have my head on and you know, and I'm living to tell the tale on some of the things that I've observed out there. I feel somewhat protected. I'm not stupid going out there. I don't bring a firearm, but I do bring my Rambo cold steel, some bear spray because I'm not out there too to try to hurt anything. At the same time, people say, well, it's still dumb, Jay, it's an unsafe thing. I always thought that, Hey, you know what if these Sasquatch people are hyper sensitive like a dog, could sense your fear, I believe the hyper sensitivity could also sense your confidence. This guy is too confident. This human's too confident walking out here in the dark. What does he have on him that's going to protect him? And I'm not trying to ward it a point. Yeah, I'm trying to. I'm trying to bring him in right, you know the best I can. That's a good point. Well, gents, we've blown through that hour. Yeah, we've blown through that our incredible time. We've had lots of great insight, Jay, Thanks for sharing it. Jay. We've talked a little bit about your documentaries. Tell folks where they can find them, where they can pick up some copies. Yeah, absolutely all. I actually have three documentaries in one special edition, all being streamed on Paraflex. It's just like Netflix, but it's all paranormal. It's it's everything, Bigfoot, Ufo, dog Man, you name it, it's it's on there. It's a great app. You can watch all of them on their streaming and if you need to go to my website jabachochin dot com. I do have blu ray copies of all my films. Uh be happy to ship them out to you. Go write my website, order them boom. Then you have them as long you know, as long as people see it. You don't make millions of dollars doing this at all? And that what do you mean? Never never does write a name for It's not about yeah, it's about the truth. It's about encouraging people saying, you know what, there's eight billion people in the world and everyone has their own truth. So right out there, discover for yourself and find your truth. And that's what I try to do is help motivate those people to get up, go out, be the window, find it yourself. Well, at some point, Jay, over this up and coming warmer season, spring summer, you and I will get back out to the Kettle again and do our tour and maybe even go down Bray Road again. Who knows. I remember you telling me going down Bray Road and you're like, right here, I saw something standing next to the road, and then you stopped and went back and it was gone. I was like, oh man, there's so much craziness going on just in that area. So yeah, I'm really looking forward to hooking up with you again, and let's go back out there and and make it happen again. And maybe this time I'll bring a double battery packs so that something doesn't die so we can get some video documentation. You never know, Vance, you never know. I don't know if that'll make a difference or not, but you're welcome to try. No, I want to try absolutely, Folks. Thanks again.
